Objects Recovered as of 28 June, 2000
- 32-Pounder cannon weighing about 5,800 pounds that was manufactured in England specifically for the CSS Alabama.
- Plate with a blue anchor and rope design from the officer's china.
- Salt glazed stoneware jar that had been broken while in use onboard and repaired by a member of the crew with tar.
- Lead deck scupper through which water from the main deck could drain overboard.
- Antler from an African antelope (species not yet identified) that had been hunted during their visit to South Africa
- Bronze tack used to fasten the copper sheeting to the hull. The copper sheeting was used to minimize growth of barnacles and algae and prevent worms from destroying the hull.
